SCOPE 范围
This position is responsible for managing all local computertechnology and services in the hotel
which can include, but is not limited to: networks, hardware, operatingsystems, anti-virus, internet access and all related systems, office automationand email systems, departmental systems for front office, back office, sales& catering, personnel, spa, and other network based software supportingthese systems; network security and compliance; where not the responsibility ofthe Engineering department, cabling, access control system, voice and guesttechnologies. The role will be responsible for management of the IT andpotentially AV staff in the hotel. Maintains inventory of all hardware productsand software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements. Supervises, supportsand trains staff and team members at IT Dept. The Director of IT role is onlyfor larger hotels in MEA and China Regions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 主要责任
First point of contact for all computer related issues withinthe hotel

Solves technical or operational problems as reported by the users.

Ensures that equipment is in proper working order and application performanceis
optimized.

Ensure that all 24/7 systems (i.e. front office, point of sale, email and interment)are
monitored and that technical service is available any time.

Ensure that backups are performed and checked on a regularbasis.

Ensure that hotel network, systems and data is secured from unwanted intrusionand in line
