JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager, Development, China
REPORTS TO: Head of Development, China
THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE Assists Head of Development, China to source, prepare, and negotiate management deals and special projects for Rosewood Hotel Group’s brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Head of Development, China in, but not limited to, deal sourcing, market research, project due diligence, RFP proposal formulation, and deal negotiations
Maintain stakeholder list and coordinate gifting and greeting efforts
Compile and dispense bi-monthly newsletters to internal stakeholders detailing developmental activities in Mainland China
Take on full responsibility for deals upon discretion of supervisor
Provide input and support on the formulation of developmental strategy in China
Act as project manager when assigned special projects
Act as a “Brand Ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained
Other Standard Responsibilities

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Business minded, versatile, and creative in deal making.
Financially alert. Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other applications.
Understands the principles of management contracts.
Polished in owner/ developer relationship handling.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and finger-on-the pulse of market trends.
Command of English and Mandarin.
Bachelor degree required.
Business development and/or project management and/or architectural design experience is preferred but not required.
Socially intelligent, self-motivated, team-oriented, discerning, and entrepreneurial.
