POSITION SUMMARY 职位综述:
Maximize revenue for the hotel through threeareas: excellent event execution, up selling, and effective management ofgroups. Executing superior events will strengthencustomer loyalty and increase repeat business opportunities. Up selling of events will result in increasedtotal event revenue. Careful andaccurate forecasting of rooms and catering functions, will allow for betterrevenue management, and increased total hotel revenue.

CRITICAL TASKS 关键任务
§ Managesall conferences,events, banquet and associateson a daily basis. As a department head, directs and works with the Banqueting, Kitchen, Room and Sales Department to successfully execute all events. Strivesto continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize thefinancial performance in areas of responsibility.

§ To discuss with the clients further detailspertaining to an event and/or group stay, menu, beverage, budget, miscellaneousarrangements, room types, benefits, etc.
与客人讨论会议或团队的附属的相应细节,如菜单,饮料,预算,杂项的安排,房型等。
§ To follow up with clients based on thesigned contract and finalize all the arrangements.

§ To issue instructions for functions to alldepartment via the event order, this well in advance. The event orders shouldbe proof read and signed by Sr. Event Manager.

§ To issue instruction for sleeping roomsrequirements to all department related via the cover sheet and rooming list.
将房间预订单和房间名单发到各个部门。
§ To assist and train the Event Coordinator whoprepares and distributes instructions and other correspondence.

§ To supervise the preparation of arrangementsof the concerned function to ensure everything is in order.

§ To liaise with Front Office, Banquet Service,Beverage Manager, Kitchen, Stewarding, Engineering, Communications andMusicians (or other) prior to the function via Group and/or Catering Resumes toensure instructions are understood and everything is in order.

§ Forecasts group blocks and food and beverageprojections.
