Job Responsibilities:
In charge for overall kitchen operations, assisting the Executive Chef in developing and implementing annual budgets, operational plans, and menu designs.
Supervise and check daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Periodically inspect kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
Complete kitchen-related reports on time, including ingredient cost analysis and inventory management.
Provide advice to senior management on all aspects of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control.
Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining compliance with HACCP requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers, culinary teams, and management to ensure efficient ingredient procurement and food preparation.
Actively participate in the hotel's Quality Assurance Program to ensure food quality meets hotel standards.
Supervise outsourced services to ensure economic and technical efficiency.
Ensure the quality of all work completed by both internal staff and external contractors meets high standards.
Implement kitchen energy management programs by setting energy reduction goals, maintaining records, and reporting regularly.。
Contribute to the hotel's profitability through effective cost control and energy conservation measures.
Continuously study new culinary techniques and energy-saving methods to improve kitchen efficiency. Periodically inspect kitchen equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Check the operation of kitchen equipment regularly to ensure it is in good condition.
Ensure all kitchen maintenance plans are implemented on time and are responsible for maintenance quality.
Supervise and check kitchen order fulfillment to ensure efficient operations.
Complete all assigned tasks on time.
Represent the kitchen department at all executive and staff meetings, maintaining regular communication with other departments.
Participate in other related meetings as necessary.
Assist related departments in promoting F&B activities.
Coordinate with related departments to provide equipment, ingredients, and setup for F&B events, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monthly ingredient cost report.

Review kitchen records and reports, and prepare new reports as needed.
Ensure kitchen staff understand and implement energy saving measures through regular training.
Ensure effective financial management of the kitchen by preparing maintenance budget and cost control plan.
Assist the Executive Chef in recruiting and training kitchen staff.
Attend training courses as approved by Executive Chef or Training Department.
Ensure kitchen staff are adequately trained.
Personally conduct major training sessions.
Ensure kitchen staff are trained in the hotel's policies and procedures.
Attend vocational skills training in your field and related fields to upgrade your skills and develop versatility.
Assist HR department in managing employee grooming.
Strictly comply with the hotel attendance system and other regulations issued by personnel department
Ensure all personnel requirements are reported in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
- Professional diploma in culinary arts.
- Preferred background in overseas culinary experience, with knowledge of working in China
- Strong proven background in Western cuisine.
- Practical, operational expertise with a flair for creativity.
- Must be organized, flexible, self-motivated and hands-on in daily operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
