Located at the heart of Yiwu business center, Shangri-La Yiwu is near the world-famous Yiwu International Commodity City. The hotel features 362 guestrooms and suites, as well as 136 serviced apartments. Shangri-La Yiwu offers guests an exceptional dining experience. Brown Sugar restaurant comes to life with made-to-order Asian and Western dishes. Live cooking stations provide an array of international delights at buffet restaurant Yue Xiu Wok. From the Lobby Lounge, guests can enjoy relaxing moments. There is a 2,000-square-metre and 12-metre-high pillar-less Grand Ballroom, which comfortably accommodates 1,000 guests for banquets. There are also 11 other function rooms of varying size, some of which provide natural daylight.

We are currently looking for a Director of Sales to join our team.
As a Director of Sales, we rely on you to:
1. Develops catering account portfolios, sales goals and strategies and ensures alignment of these goals to the hotel’s overall business strategy.
2. Leads the Events Management team in generating and developing leads for local segments: Corporate, Social, Government & Association.
3. Maximize revenues through proper control of function space utilization and assigns function space according to guidelines and policy set forth.
4. Maintains close rapport with local government officials, embassy and social celebrities to build up potential client database.
5. Works closely with the DOS, and NSO sales team (where applicable) to maintain the most updated information of city-wide events including exhibitions, conventions, and other major social events that will impact the hotel’s business and share such information with Events Management team regularly.
6. Assists the DOSM in the development and execution of the Marketing Plan part which consists of Events Revenue strategies and tactical actions.
We are looking for someone who:
1. At least 3 years working experience in the same position.
2. Have certain customer accumulation and team spirit.
3. Strong management ability, judgment and decision making ability, interpersonal communication and coordination ability, planning and execution ability.
